The Bay Atlantic Symphony will be part of events set to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Schultz-Hill Foundation. Many children have been invited to listen to the symphony play Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" at the Dante Hall Theater on April 6.

The Schultz-Hill Foundation, an Atlantic City-based non-profit organization, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. In the process, it will usher in the anniversary not only with a bang, but with a symphony orchestra, more than one Big Band, and more.

The organization, which raises money to provide scholarships and grants primarily for the arts, was founded by John Schultz and his partner, Gary Hill in 2002 after seeing a newspaper article about community outreach, according to a news release.

Some of the events planned for the foundation's anniversary are:
  • April 6: Bringing 250 children grades 4 to 7, to hear the Bay Atlantic Symphony perform "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi in the Dante Hall Theater,
  • May 10: The Margate Jewish Community Center and the Buddy Gale Big Band will join forces for the first in the Senior Music & Memories series at the center.
  • July 5: The Senior Music & Memories series continues with the Jim Crane Big Band at Seashore Gardens Living Center.
  • July 15: The annual fundraising event for the foundation will be held at 8 p.m. at the Superstar Theater at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The night will feature entertainment by Christophe Macchio and his orchestra.
  • July 26: Foundation will host a Dave Damiani performance titled "La La Land" at Dante Hall.

Other expected events would connect Atlantic City Ballet performers with Covenant House residents, and a jazz event with Eddie Morgan at Seashore Gardens.
