Atlantic City, NJ — The Schultz-Hill Foundation awarded $22,000 in scholarships and ARTS grants in 2025, continuing its steadfast commitment to uplifting students and strengthening arts and education programs across South Jersey.
 
Through its DINA Scholarship/ARTS Grant Program, the Foundation supports emerging talent and impactful community initiatives in the fields of art, history, and education. Named for the “Angel of Wisdom,” the DINA Program reflects the Foundation’s mission to inspire creativity, preserve heritage, and open doors to opportunity.

The Schultz-Hill Foundation is proud to announce that its annual benefit concert, The Disco Ball, raised an impressive $100,000 to support arts, education, and cultural programming across South Jersey.
 
Held on Friday, August 1, at the Superstar Theater in Resorts Casino Hotel, the event featured a crowd-pleasing performance by the New York Bee Gees Tribute Band, joined by Crystal Stark of American Idol fame. Concertgoers danced the night away to hits like Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, and a special Donna Summer tribute, celebrating the timeless energy of the disco era.
 
“We’re grateful to our community, sponsors, and guests who turned out in full disco spirit to support our mission,” said Gary Hill, co-founder of the Schultz-Hill Foundation. “This event helps fund a full year of music and arts programs that reach students, seniors, and underserved communities throughout our region.”

Resorts Casino Hotel served as the event’s presenting sponsor, with Resorts President Mark Giannantonio and Mrs. Susan Giannantonio acting as honorary chairs of the evening’s Celebrity Committee. MudGirls Studios works with women to transform lives through art.

It was an afternoon filled with live music, art demonstrations, and interactive activities at the Orange Loop Community Block Party and Concert at the Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall, on September 21. Sponsored by the Schultz-Hill Foundation, this event brought the arts to the Atlantic City community, fostering a spirit of connectivity and creativity.
 
Dave Damiani and his Quartet captivated the crowd with classic American standards. Damiani is a singer, songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. Performance artist Michael Indorato, known as "the flying artist," added an exhilarating visual dimension.

The event also featured engaging activities, including caricature artists and Face & Body Painting By Heather, ensuring a fun experience for all ages. Attendees enjoyed delicious food available for purchase, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted community spirit.

Tony Danza entertained a crowd of over 900 at the Schultz-Hill Foundation’s annual fundraiser at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City on August 16. The event raised $100,000 for the Foundation, whose mission is to provide music and arts education programs for students and seniors in greater Atlantic City.
 
The show, Tony Danza: Standards & Stories, combined timeless music with wit, charm, storytelling, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances, Danza and his four-piece band performed a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music.
 
Danza has been one of the world’s most beloved entertainers for over 40 years, known for his iconic roles on Taxi and Who’s The Boss. He has starred in hit films such as Angels in the Outfield, She’s Out of Control, Hollywood Knights, and Don Jon.  Danza has also starred on Broadway in The Producers, A View from the Bridge, and Honeymoon in Vegas. He received an Emmy nomination for his guest spot on The Practice. Danza most recently starred in the Hulu original film, Darby and the Dead, Power Book III: Raising Kanan on Starz, the Netflix series The Good Cop, There’s Johnny on Hulu, the animated feature, Rumble, for Paramount, and And Just Like That on HBO Max. Danza also has a much buzzed about sequel to Who’s the Boss in development with Amazon’s Freevee.

(Atlantic City, N.J.) Over 300 students from Principle Academy Charter School explored the arts first-hand in an innovative Meet the Artist program made possible by the Schultz-Hill Foundation in collaboration with the Noyes Arts Garage at Stockton University, the African American Heritage Museum, and the Atlantic City Arts Foundation.
 
The second through sixth graders created artwork at school during lessons with a visiting guest artist. Then, over a two-day span, the students visited the Noyes Arts Garage to see some of their artwork on display. They toured the African American History Museum and visited the murals throughout Atlantic City.
 
“Creativity is the highest level of learning, and the collaboration with the Schultz-Hill Foundation took our art studies to the next level,” said Sara Caporilli, Chief Operating Officer, Principle Academy Charter. “From beautifully packaged supplies to hands-on guidance from visiting artists, every detail enriched our students' learning journey. Working collaboratively with our art teacher, Lindsey Johnson, the visiting artist seamlessly integrated age-appropriate projects into our curriculum, sparking transformative outcomes. Our school is committed to a purpose-driven arts curriculum, and we truly appreciate the chance for our students to step away from campus to experience a bigger picture.”
 
Visual artist Chanelle René from Cape May was selected by the Noyes as the visiting art instructor. She started the fifth grade lesson on polymer clay frogs by talking about the different colors of frogs in nature. “They aren’t just green,” she said. “They come in blue, orange, and purple, and those were the inspiration for the colors we’re using today.”
 
Fifth grade student Jurnee named her frog “Lily.”  “This is the first time I’ve done something like this,” she said. “It was fun. I liked that we could create frogs with their own personality.” Classmate Yahel noted it was his first time working with polymer clay, too. “I’m an artist and I like drawing. This is like drawing in 3D.”
 
 “There are no mistakes in art,” René noted as students worried whether they were doing the right thing. Afterward, she explained the program’s impact. “If you get the kids involved in exploring their creativity, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Art is the gateway to imagination and possibility.”
 
Principle Academy Charter (PAC) is a K-6 public charter school, with students from several different sending districts, including Pleasantville, Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Twp., Galloway, Somers Point, and Absecon. Students often come from economically disadvantaged families.
