Schultz-Hill Foundation Celebrates 16th Anniversary

Picture
In 2002, an article in a local newspaper, focusing on giving back to the community, ignited the undertaking that would become today’s Schultz-Hill Foundation.
Founded in that first year by the Hon. John Schultz and his partner, Gary Hill, the Schultz-Hill Foundation was created to promote and support arts, history and education in South Jersey. Now observing its 16th year, the organization has annually delivered on its primary goals of providing educational scholarships, direct grants and funding for the Arts, historical and musical programs.
This year, via its Arts Outreach program, the Foundation will bring the Bay Atlantic Symphony to Atlantic City Residents with a Summer Concert Series on the Beach, and plans are in the works to introduce the Atlantic City Ballet to residents of the Covenant House.  On May 16th, the Foundation will host the first of its Senior Music & Memories Series with the 16-piece Buddy Gale Big Band performing at Margate’s Jewish Community Center. On June 27th , under that same series, the Foundation will bring  Dave Damiani  & the Instigators to seniors at the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center. On September 6th  at Seashore Gardens Living Center, the Teddy Royal Trio will present Jazz in the Garden in the Alzheimer’s Sensory Trail & Healing Garden. The Senior Music and Memories events are open, at no cost, to all senior citizens, Schultz-Hill Foundation is pleased to be able to fund these programs for our seniors.
For its 16th annual fundraising event, the Foundation presents the  American Legends, “FIFTH Dimension,” featuring the remarkable original lead Florence La Rue at the Superstar Theater at the Resorts Casino Hotel on August 24th, at 8:30 p.m.
