Music & Memories
Out of an abundance of caution, we have postponed our senior music programs per the CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon, once it is safe to do so.
The Music & Memories outreach series is a collaborative program established to bring the arts to seniors in the community and to help build a better awareness, education and appreciation for the arts in South Jersey. We enjoyed the Soulful Sounds of Sinatra in a special concert at Seashore Gardens Living Center. Performer Steve Maglio sang many of Sinatra's legendary hits. Next, we welcomed Dave Damiani and the No Vacancy Band performing Nat King Cole's timeless classics. We also brought the Golden Era of Vaudeville to Seashore Gardens Living Center! ![]() ![]() Our Big Band concert featured the 16-piece Buddy Gale Band, under the direction of Dr. Louis Giunta, a retired music educator and school administrator. In July, we welcomed Dave Damiani &The No Vacancy Orchestra performing some of our favorite tunes from the Great American Songbook. We hosted Jazz in the Garden at Seashore Gardens Living Center on Sept. 6 featuring the Teddy Royal Band and guest singer Miss Pat Tandy. The Schultz-Hill Foundation was happy to partner with the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center for the Music and Memories Series. Sponsors of the concert included The Forza Insurance Group, the Hordes Family and OceanFirst Bank.
