Music and Memories

The Schultz-Hill Foundation kicked off its new Outreach to Others series with a musical program Feb. 15 at Seashore Gardens Living Center in Galloway Township to honor the facility's 100th anniversary. More than 100 residents and family members attended the free 'Season of Love'mini-concert performed by members of the Bay-Atlantic Symphony and were treated afterward to a private meet-and-greet with the musicians. The outreach series is a collaborative program established to bring the arts to others in the community and to help build a better awareness, education and appreciation for the arts in South Jersey. Sponsors for the event included Atlanti Care, Parke Bank and Essential Elements health food store. At right, Schultz-Hill board member Jeannie Eisele, founders Gary Hill and John Schultz and Seashore Gardens staff member Sharon D'Angio spend time with one of the residents. Below, Paul Herron, center, of the Bay Atlantic Symphony, poses with Schultz, Hill, musicians Ruotao Mao and Nancy Stokking and board members, Seashore staff and volunteers after the concert.
